Meet some of our professional actors for role play.

London Role Play has a large selection of professional actors available for business projects covering different types, ages, and ethnicities. We know our actors well and work as a large creative family. Our business actors all have good experience of corporate work alongside other acting credits. Here you can meet a few of them and read a little about their background.

Paul Bazely

Paul is best known for playing the brilliant Troy in hit comedy series Benidorm. Other TV credits include: Making Out, Heartbeat, Doctors, Holby City, Black Mirror, The IT Crowd, Green Wing, Footballers Wives, and Doctor Who.

He has also appeared in the feature films, Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Vanity Fair, and Tula: The Revolt.

Paul’s theatre roles have seen him play at The National, The Royal Court, the Stephen Joseph, and Sheffield Crucible amongst others.

Paul has been a professional role-player with London Role Play for the past seven years.


Callie Cooke

Callie has recently appeared in Filthy Business at The Hampstead Theatre before which her stage debut showed her playing Tia in the highly acclaimed Firebird at The Trafalgar Studios.

For TV she has filmed Strike for HBO, and plays a lead in the new Sky series Britannia made by Vertigo Films.

Callie has been one of our professional role players for the past two years.


Chris Hollis

Musical Theatre fans might have seen Chris playing Bill in the  West End hit Mamma Mia. Amongst his other numerous theatre credits are performances at Regents Park, York Theatre Royal, The Salisbury Playhouse, and with the R.S.C.

Chris’ TV credits include Family Affairs, Eastenders, Touch of Frost, and Brookside. On film he has appeared in Kenneth Brannagh’s Frankenstein and Mons Holmquist’s Playing it Straight.

Chris has been a role-play actor and facilitator for London Role Play for the past seven years.


Ben Jones

Doctors fans will remember Ben as playing regular character Dr. Greg Robinson in the popular series. He appeared in over 630 episodes and during his time there was nominated for the coveted Rose d’Or and Royal Television Society Awards for ‘best actor’. He was also nominated several times at The British Soap Awards for ‘sexiest male’!

Ben’s other TV credits include Longitude, Holby City, Emmerdale, Spooks, and My Family.

Ben has been one of our professional role-play actors for the past four years.


Deeivya Meir

Dee’s TV credits include Eastenders, The Bill, and Blue Peter amongst others. she has also been in several films including King of Bollywood.

On stage Dee has appeared at The National, Southwark Playhouse, and The Unicorn Theatre. Dee has worked extensively in radio, most notably for BBC Radio 4.

Dee has been one of London Role Play’s professional role-players for the past year.


Sian Webber

Sian is often seen on our TV screens playing Phil Mitchell’s long-running lawyer, Ritchie Scott, in the BBC Soap Eastenders. Over the years she has appeared in numerous other TV shows with her first leading character being Emma Neesome in Howards Way.

On stage Sian has appeared in Blithe Spirit at The Bristol Old Vic, Gaslight at The Salisbury Playhouse, and most recently Kembles Riot in The Brighton Festival.

Sian has been a professional role play actor with The London Role Play Company for the past nine years.

 


Ian Shaw

Ian has worked extensively in British theatre playing seasons with Manchester Royal Exchange, Birmingham Rep, and Derby Playhouse amongst others. Leading roles include Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest, Larry in Closer, and Colin in Ayckbourn’s, Absent Friends. Ian is currently starring in The West End Hit War Horse.

TV credits include Silent Witness, Channel 4’s The Queen, and The Slightly Filthy Show. Ian has appeared in various feature films including Stephen Poliakoff’s Century, and John Irvin’s The Boys from County Clare.

Ian has been one of our professional role-play actors for the last three years.


Erin Geraghty

Erin’s many TV credits include Birds of a Feather, Mistresses, Last of The Summer Wine, Nighty-Night, Dodgem, and Eastenders. She is probably best known for her role as Maureen in The BBC’s Angels.

Erin has worked extensively in theatre including stints at The Royal Court, Norwich Playhouse, and London’s West End.

Her film credits include The Tales of Beatrix Potter and Requiem Apache.

Erin has been one of London Role Play’s corporate actors for the past seven years.


Eva Fontaine

Eva is best known for playing the feisty yet loveable Faith Walker in the BBC drama series Doctors. During her time at the Letherbridge practice from 2001-2006, she appeared in hundreds of episodes and was nominated twice for Best Actress at The British Soap Awards.

On stage, Eva has appeared in many critically acclaimed stand-out plays. She appeared in Phil Wilmott’s sell-out production of Arthur Miller’s The American Clock, and most recently the two hander Henrietta Lacks by Miles Gallant.

Eva has been a professional role play actor with The London Role Play Company for the past seven years.


Jamie Kenna

Jamie has appeared in numerous feature films including A Violent Mind, Bonded by Blood and London to Brighton. His many TV credits include Law and Order, Silent Witness, AWOL and The London Nail Bomber.

Jamie was part of Alan Ayckbourn’s famous theatre company touring with Communicating Doors and The Life Of Riley. He is currently starring in The West End production of War Horse.

Jamie has been one of our professional actors for role play the past six years.


John Peters

John has been on our TV screens in many popular soaps and dramas including Holby City, Law and Order, Doctors, Extras, Rosemary and Thyme, Family Affairs, The Bill, and Eastenders.

His stage roles have taken him to The Barbican, plus Southwark, Nottingham, and Derby Playhouses amongst others.

John has also featured in End Game and Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.

John has been one of London Role Play’s actors for business for the past seven years.


Miranda Henderson

Miranda is the artistic director of Prodigal Theatre and The Urban Playground Team. She has directed and/or appeared in all of their shows, including the award winning Ten Thousand Several Doors in which she played the Duchess of Malfi, and the multi-award winning Tragedian Trilogy of which she is the director and dramaturge.

With the UPG team Miranda has performed across five different continents!

Miranda has been a corporate actor with London Role Play for the past ten years.


Alister O’Loughlin

Alister is the co-director of Prodigal Theatre and The Urban Playground Team.

He has appeared in all of their shows, including the award winning Ten Thousand Several Doors in which he played Bosola, and the multi-award winning Tragedian Trilogy of which he is the solo writer and performer.

For Stephen Berkoff, Alister played Tiresias in the Edinburgh Fringe and Spoleto, South Carolina productions of Oedipus.

Alister has been one of The London Role Play Company’s professional role players for the past ten years.


Grant Masters

Grant has appeared in over 40 TV shows. His credits include popular TV dramas such as Hollyoaks,The Bill, Eastenders, and Casualty. Fans of BBC 1’s Casualty might recognise him as the long-running registrar Dan Robinson. Other credits include Wire in the Blood, Silent Witness, Rome and Hustle. Grant starred in a Doctors storyline earlier this year that was recently nominated for Best Storyline at The British Soap Awards 2013.

Grant has been in several feature films including Mike Leigh’s Secrets and Lies and, more recently, Blackline – The Beirut Contract directed by Christian Johnston.

Grant is both one of our professional actors for role play and workshop facilitator.


Angela Marray

On TV Angela has appeared in Doc Martin, The Man Who Saved Children, and the BBC’s Hope and Glory. She also played Heather in Ken Loach’s feature film, It’s a Free World.

Angela has worked in several top theatres including Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Jermyn Street Theatre, and The Royal Court.

She has been one of our actors for role play for the past seven years.


Ryan Philpott

Ryan’s TV credits include Rosemary and Thyme, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and Coupling. Eastenders fans may also recognise him for playing Sergeant Kenny Morris in the popular soap.

Ryan has been seen in several feature films including BAFTA winning Warriors.

His theatre credits include Blood Brothers and Aspects of Love at The Palace Theatre.

Ryan has been a professional role-play actor with London Role Play for the past three years.


Susie Sefton

Susie has performed at many different theatres including Bathe Theatre Royal, The Orange Tree Theatre, and Battersea Arts Centre.

On screen Susie had been seen in Illusion for Maverick Films and the BBC’s Looking Good.

She is also an established presenter and voice-over artist.

Susie has been one of our role-play actors for the past eight years.


Emma Kilbey

Emma’s various theatre credits include Polly Garter in Under Milk Wood, The Wife of Bath inThe Canterbury Tales, and the title role in the all-female Soho Group’s Macbeth!

On screen Emma has been seen in Eastenders and The Stand Up Show for Live TV.

Emma has been a facilitator and one of our role-play actors for the past three years.


Gordon Winter

Gordon’s many acting credits include appearing in over 100 TV adverts! Some of you might remember him from the award-winning Guinness advert,  Anticipation, often cited as being one of the nations Top 10 advertisements.

Gordon’s other TV credits include Birds of a Feather, Minder, Frank Stubbs, South by South East, and Goodnight Sweetheart. Feature films include Mike Leigh’s Secrets and Lies, plus the BAFTA award-winning Candy Show.

Gordon has been one of our role-play actors for the past five years.


Katie Grace-Cooper

Katie recentley played a lead role in the award-winning Alchemystorium, which was shown at both The Edinburgh Festival and Greenwich Theatre. Other theatre credits include Been So Long at The Young Vic Theatre, and also the lead role in Alice in Wonderland for Theatre Technics.

On film Katie has been seen in feature The Kid, directed by Nick Moran, and also DogEndz produced by Shimmer Productions.

Katie has been one of our actors for role-play for the past two years.


Ian Barnes

Ian has played many theatre roles including Orsino in Twelth Night, Father Dan in Waiting For The Angels, and Norman Petty in a National tour of The Buddy Holly Story.

On screen he has appeared in Sunday directed by Geoff Woods, The Vice, Sikes and Nancy, and Grange Hill!

Ian has been one of our professional role-play actors for the last ten years.


George Williams

George’s stage roles include Mozart in Amadeus, Feste in Twelfth Night, and various characters in Polly Dunbar’s famous children’s stories, now adapted for stage.

On screen George had appeared in ITV’s The Swap, Talking Skull’s Flatsharing, and Jason King’s Bad Company, in which he palyed the lead.

George has been one of our role-play actors for the past five years.


Penny Scott Andrews

Penny has appeared in many stage productions including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Importance of Being Earnest, Dr Faustus and Twelfth Night.

She is also a radio and voice-over artist.

Penny has been one of our actors for role play the past five years.


Nick Bartlett

Nick has appeared in nearly twenty feature films including Hollywood blockbusters The 51st State (Ronny Yu), Gangs of New York (Martin Scorsese), and Topsy Turvey directed by Mike Leigh. Most recently he can be seen in World War Z starring Brad Pitt.

His many TV credits include Trial and Retribution, Tipping the Velvet, and Eastenders.

Nick has been one of our professional role-play actors for the past three years.


Amanda St John

Amanda’s many TV credits include Law and Order, The Inbetweeners, Messiah and Grease Monkeys. She has appeared at both the Glasgow Citizens and the New End Theatre.

Amanda is also a voice-over artist and has worked as a TV presenter for Tyne Tees Television.

She has been amongst our professional actors for role play since LRP was founded over ten years ago.


Clea Smith

Clea’s most recent TV credits include BBC 4’s The Ornate Johnson’s Edwardian Spectacular and BBC 1’s Not Going Out. Her film credits include Summer Rain and The Good Soldier.

On stage she has appeared in a wide range of productions including Wolf Lullaby, The Tempest and Terry James’ adaptation of Brighton Rock.

Clea has been one of our role-play actors for the past eight years.


James Simmons

James’ prolific theatre career spans three decades. He has toured with the R.S.C. and worked for Kenneth Branagh’s prestigious Renaissance Theatre Company. James has been in several original Ayckbourn plays and also Trevor Nunn’s famous adaptation of Hamlet at the Old Vic. He has played parts in many West End shows including Kipps in the international hit Woman in Black and Scar in Disney’s Lion King.

James’ TV credits include Soldier Soldier, Trial and Retribution and Eastenders. On film he has appeared in Henry V, The Whistleblower and Blue Ice with Michael Caine.

James is both one of our professional actors for role play and workshop facilitator.


Lisa Shingler

Coronation Street fans may recognise Lisa as having played Steve McDonald’s girlfriend, Rachel Forbes, back in 1997–98. Her other TV credits include Cold Lazarus, Venus and Mars, Holby and Doctors.

Lisa is also a regular presenter and voice-over artist for the Discovery Channel.

Lisa has been amongst the professional role-play actors for London Role Play since its conception over ten years ago.
